This ATV log arch is a really good helper especially when you're transporting logs to the saw mill. With this log arch you're able to suspend the freshly cut log from the ground and thus from the dirt. The bark will stay clean and your saw mill blade will stay sharp for a longer period of time.
The log tongs will hook on to the log firmly and enable you to attach the front end of the log via chain to the frame of the log arch without trouble because it is easier to get the chain under the log while it's suspended from the ground. You're able to transport logs up to 4,5 m long fully suspended and 0,65 m wide in diameter easily.
The blueprints include drawings for log tongs so you don't have to figure out the geometry yourself. You can also move logs with the log arch by hand on level ground when the log is well balanced in the tongs and the weight of it doesn't lay on the front part of frame of the log arch.
